On behalf of myself, my sisters and our family, thank you for the beautiful services for our father. Everything was exactly what I hoped for. Elle, you made one of the most difficult days of our lives much more bearable with your kindness, empathy and compassion. I can never express my gratitude enough for everything you did to honor our father in the most respectful, beautiful way. From the beginning, as we sat with Elle deciding the prearrangement details for our father, we felt our father would be in excellent hands when the time came, and we were exactly correct. Elle treated him dignity and respect. We are eternally grateful for her help as we walked through the journey of saying goodbye for now to our Dad. From the bottom of our hearts, Elle, thank you.

Just a note to thank you for the beautiful funeral service you gave our dear friend, Harvey. Everything was so beautiful and he looked so content and at peace. He just marched into heaven in his bibbs-his favorite clothes! Bless your hearts and God bless you in your service to others.

Dear Hoffen Funeral Home, On behalf of Mid-America Transplant, I am writing to thank you and acknowledge your role in the organ donation, by a 25 year old woman, that occurred on May 29, 2020. I realize that organ donation requires an extra effort on your part in terms of time commitment. When you realize the tremendous benefit donor families find in making something positive happen at this time of loss, I'm sure you will feel the extra effort is worth it. Here is the outcome of this generous donation: Her liver was gifted to a 57 year old father of one from New York. He is very grateful for this transplant. He was placed on the waiting list for a liver transplant on April 23, 2020 and is doing well as he recovers. Her left kidney was received by a 69 year old woman in New York. She was waitlisted for a kidney transplant on September 27, 2016 and she continues to do well as she recovers. Her right kidney was donated to a 61 year old man in New York. He was placed on the waiting list for a kidney transplant on August 9, 2017 and is recovering well since receiving his new kidney. At Mid-America Transplant, our foremost concern is for the grieving family. By providing the family with the opportunity to donate, they can take some small measure of comfort that their loved one left this world a better place. Your continued support is valued. C. Elle was just wonderful and compassionate, especially during this COVID-19. She took a lot of the stress off the family during this hard time for us. We couldn't thank her enough.

What a gesture! Thank you for helping make our first virtual event so special. Our volunteer was so surprised! It was beautiful and made such an impact providing the flag case to dedicate to her. We appreciate our relationship with Hoffen Funeral Home and your generosity. Your friends of Hospice of Southern Illinois, Kim Oplet and Christine Litteken

When our dad passed, we were a little unprepared. We came to Hoffen Funeral Home due to their excellent reputation. The new owner and her staff lived up to and surpassed our expectations. Their kindness and attention to details made an unpleasant experience much more bearable. We would highly recommend their services to anyone in need.

Services for my sister were a 10 out of 10. Everyone was very knowledgable, sincere, kind, and great at what they do. I'm grateful to have been assisted through this process by everyone at the funeral home. Thank you so much!

Dear Elle, We, the residents of Millstadt Garden Place, thank you so very much for the beautiful, large American Flag displayed on the sturdy floor stand. Gosh, that is so thoughtful and generous of you. Also, thank you for your visits here and the useful gifts you distribute. Your thoughtfulness is so appreciated, which brings to mind this bible passage: A kind hearted woman gains respect. Proverbs 11:16. Again, many thanks for all the gifts and visits. Sincerely, Garden Place Residents

Losing my baby girl has by far been the hardest thing I've ever experienced in my life. She didn't even get to turn three. My heart is broken and there will always be a piece missing. You not only have made this easy financially, but you've helped me mentally. I had this image of her in my head that I needed to get out of my mind. You made me a promise to get that image out of my mind and you did. I am forever grateful. I pray that God blesses you endlessly. You've made the most difficult time in my life a lot easier. Thank you. Thank you. Thank you.

My beloved mom recently passed and we held her funeral at Creason Funeral Home. This was a very difficult time for me and my family – our hearts broken and overwhelmed by all that needed to be taken care of. Fortunately some of the arrangements had been done a few years ago. Since then, the funeral home was sold and we were concerned that our connection to the Creason family, with whom we had been close friends all my life, would be lost. However, not only were our wishes followed to the letter, the new owners and staff were wonderful to work with and did a magnificent job. The funeral home was beautiful and more importantly our mom was beautiful. It is impossible to say enough about how wonderful Elle and Mandy were throughout the entire process. They made a very difficult time easier. They provided the comfort and reassurance we really needed at our most vulnerable time. We were so fortunate to have Elle and Mandi by our side every step of the way. Millstadt, and the surrounding communities, are fortunate as well to have such a professional, comforting staff available at their time of need.
