You Can Prepay
When you pre-arrange your funeral or that of a loved one, your money is placed into a whole life insurance contract issued through Pekin Life Insurance Company. Elle Heiligenstein is a licensed life insurance producer in Illinois and utilizes only whole life insurance policies in order to protect consumers and their investments as much as possible. Your pre-paid whole life insurance contract is not only guaranteed by Pekin Life Insurance, but also by the Illinois Insurance Commission. This is important! Any money that you pay towards your pre-paid funeral contract must be deposited into the Pekin Life Insurance Company within 30 days of receipt. This is a state law! You may have read about unscrupulous funeral directors stealing pre-paid funeral funds and "cooking" the books to hide theft-this is scary for anyone interested in pre-paying for their funeral. Because I only use whole life insurance contracts to fund pre-paid funerals, it is virtually impossible for your money to be misappropriated. I tell all of my clients who are pre-arranging funeral contracts with me to call me and Pekin Life Insurance immediately if they do not receive proof of deposit of their money within 30 days. We are completely transparent! Your trust is of highest importance to me.
