Victoria J. Dunstone

Victoria Jean Dunstone, nee Barnes, 74, of Collinsville, IL, passed away peacefully on Sunday November 9, 2025. Victoria was born on May 13, 1951, in Norwich, Norfolk England to Herbert F. and Ivy M. (Amis) Barnes and her parents precede her in death. She was also preceded in death by her sister, Pearl Rose and her brother-in-law, Peter Rose.

Victoria grew up in England and pursued a career in nursing after high school. After graduating, she started her family. She spent many years as a stay-at-home mother raising her children. She immigrated to the United States in 1995. She will be remembered as a devoted and loving mother, sister, grandmother and great-grandmother.

Left to cherish her memory are her children: Stephen Skipper and Mark (Amanda Ianke) Skipper; her siblings: Beryl (Gunther) Krich, Gillian Jeremias, Robert (Donna) Barnes and Debra (John) West; her grandchildren: Aidan, Christian, Kai, Georgia, Oliver, Austin, Clark and Poppy and her great-granddaughter, Mia in addition to many nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.

Per Victoria’s wishes, cremation has taken place, and a celebration of life will be held at a later date.
