Vaughn Lee Mcbride

Vaughn Lee McBride of New Athens, Illinois passed away on Monday, December 17, 2018 at Red Bud Regional Health Care in Red Bud, Illinois, having attained the age of 75 years, 5 months and 29 days.

Born in Sparta, Illinois on June 18, 1943, he was the son of Byron and Sylvia McBride, nee Reinhardt. He was united in marriage to Sandra Sue Roche on November 23, 1963 at St. Johns Lutheran Church in Baldwin, Illinois and she survives his passing.

Vaughn was a foundry worker and a member of St. Johns Lutheran Church in Baldwin, Illinois.

Preceding him in death were his parents and his brother, Leon McBride, and stepfather, Clarence Budde.

Surviving are his wife, Sandra McBride of New Athens, Illinois; his children, Christine (Mark) Hanft of New Athens, Illinois and Lisa (Steve) Bruenger of West Point, Illinois; his sister, Sharon Huber of Austin, Texas; his grandchildren, Mallory (Everett) Rossy of Fairview Heights, Illinois, Skyler Bruenger of West Point, Illinois and Stephanie Bruenger of Crawfordsville, Indiana, nieces, nephews and many friends.

All services will be private.

The Creason Funeral Home in Millstadt, Illinois is assisting the family.
