Terry M. Irvin

Terry M. Irvin, 78, of Swansea, IL passed away peacefully on Sunday September 21, 2025, in Mt. Vernon, IL. Terry was born on July 21, 1947, in Ft. Campbell, KY to Lloyd D. and Phyllis M. (Garren) Irvin and his parents precede him in death. He was also preceded in death by his wife, Joan Irvin and grandson, Robert Thomas Hale.

Terry was a lifelong, huge fan of Superman. He also had a strong interest in German history and heritage. He loved to read, especially Westerns and also enjoyed watching Western films on television. He was also a fan of the Wild West throughout his life.

Left to cherish his memory are his children: Terri Lynn (John) Hale of Denton, TX, Sam (Holly) Irvin of Palm Bay, FL and Maria Delaney of Mt. Vernon, IL; his siblings: David (Judy) Irvin of Carlyle, IL, Linda (the late Paul) Heinrich of Belleville, IL, Tim (Karen) Irvin of Oliver Springs, TN and Dan (Maria) Irvin of Atascosita, TX; 6 grandchildren in addition to many nieces, nephews, extended family, and friends.

The family will hold a private celebration of life at a later date.
