Tammy S. Ford

Tammy Sue Ford, nee Muskopf, 56, of Millstadt, IL passed away peacefully on Sunday April 19, 2026, in Belleville, IL following a brief illness. Tammy was born on November 20, 1969, in Belleville, IL to Leroy and Shirley (Meness) Muskopf, Jr. and her father precedes her in death. She was also preceded in death by her grandparents: Leroy Muskopf, Sr. and Lloyd and Wilhelmina Meness and her first husband, Lance A. Ford, Sr.

Tammy was a lifelong resident of Millstadt. She graduated from Belleville East High School and Southwest Illinois College with her associates degree. She worked as a parts clerk for 30 years at Broadway Ford in St. Louis.

In her spare time, she enjoyed the comforts and peace of her home. Most important to Tammy was her family and the time she spent with them. She will be deeply missed by all those who knew and loved her.

Left to cherish her memory is her mother, Shirley Ann (Meness) McCormick; her significant other, Vernon Thomas; her son, Lance A. Ford II; her sister, Tiffany (Josh) Ison and her grandson, Lance A. Ford III.

Cremation has taken place and no services are planned at this time.
