Robert H. Engleman, Jr.

Robert H. Engleman Jr., 68, of Belleville, IL passed away at his home on Monday February 2, 2026. He was born on April 18, 1957, in Belleville, IL to Robert H. Engleman Sr. and Edith (Schiebel) Engleman and his parents precede him in death.

Robert grew up in O’Fallon, IL and graduated from O’Fallon High School. He went to work immediately after graduating and spent the rest of his working life as a truck driver. He was employed by Midwest Systems for the majority of his career.

Family was the focus of Robert’s life. He was a loving and dedicated son who took great care of his parents. He is also remembered as a loving father who never missed one of his children’s sporting events. Robert was a man who loved a good nap, and he cared deeply for his neighbors and the less fortunate. His memory will be cherished by all those who knew and loved him.

Robert is survived by his children: Billy (Tammy) Engleman, Steven (Sharon) Engleman and Michelle (P.J.) Kallas; his siblings: Chuck (Susie) Engleman, Sheila Ochu and Dawn (Scott) Schaefer; his grandchildren: Andrew Engleman, Ashlyn Engleman, Adam Engleman, Alex Engleman, Annie Engleman, Bella Kallas, Clarissa Kallas, Jasmine Kallas and his nephew and godson, Michael Schaefer in addition to extended family and countless friends.

A celebration of life will be held on Saturday February 14, 2026, from 11:00am-2:00pm at The Riviera Room at the Hampton Inn, 430 Regency Park, O’Fallon, IL 62269.
