Richard M. Rick Kutz

Richard 'Rick' M. Kutz, 65 of Mascoutah, Illinois passed away peacefully on Monday August 19, 2019 at St. Elizabeth's Hospital in O'Fallon, Illinois. Born on July 24, 1954 in East St. Louis, Illinois, he was the son of Henry and Alberta Kutz and they precede him in death.



Surviving is Richard's girlfriend of many years, Janet L. Alling of Mascoutah, Illinois, and his sons, Michael Kutz of Phoenix, Arizona and Daniel Kutz of Mascoutah, Illinois. Richard is also survived by his brother, Phillip and sister, Kathy Rile and close friend Jim Rellihan.



Richard worked for many years as a maintenance technician. He proudly served his country in the United States Air Force. During his college years, he played baseball for Arizona State University. He was very athletic and enjoyed running marathons and was a little league coach.



Richard will be laid to rest in honor at Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery at a later date.
