Raymond A. Heimos

Raymond A. Heimos, 89, of Waterloo, IL passed away on Thursday April 30, 2026. He was born on May 15, 1936, in St. Louis, MO.

Ray spent his life on farms taking care of cattle and the land. He was a large animal lover. He was a hard worker up until the end. Ray was also very proud of his time spent in the Army.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Arthur and Louise (nee Figgemeier) Heimos and his sister, Elizabeth Muskopf.

Visitation will be held on Thursday May 7, 2026, from 10:00am-11:00am at St. James Catholic Church, 405 W. Madison St., Millstadt, IL. Mass of Christian Burial will follow at 11:00am. Raymond will then be laid to rest at St. James Catholic Cemetery in Millstadt, IL.
