Newman Cordell Snyder, Jr. of OFallon, Illinois passed away on Monday, February 20, 2017 at Barnes-Jewish Hospital in St. Louis, Missouri, having attained the age of 61 years, 9 months and 26 days.
Born in Belleville, Illinois on April 24, 1955, he was the son of Newman Cordell and Shirley Snyder, Sr., nee Stitzel.
Newman was a bookmaker at Belleville Shoe Company.
Preceding him in death were his father, Newman Cordell Snyder, Sr.; his sister, Teresa Marie Snyder at birth; his brother-in-law, Leroy "Lee" Rogers and his great-niece, Sofya Rayne Gildersleeve.
Surviving are his son, Justin Dickneite of Belleville, Illinois, his mother, Shirley Snyder; his sister, Susan Rogers of OFallon, Illinois; his niece, Courtney (Darin) Gildersleeve; his nephew, Ian (fianc, Noelle Pecher) Rogers and many friends.
Graveside services will be held on Friday, March 3, 2017 at 11:00 A.M. at Walnut Hill Cemetery in Belleville, Illinois.
