Nathan John Diehl
Nathan John Diehl, of Millstadt, Ill., born December 27, 1991, in Belleville, Ill.; died Sunday, December 29, 2013, as the result of a traffic accident having reached the age of 22 years and 2 days.
Nathan was a 2010 graduate of Belleville Township High School-West, a meatpacker employed at Schubert's Packing Company, Millstadt; Illinois, and a member of St. James Catholic Church, Millstadt, Illinois.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Tracy nee Podhrasky, Diehl, his paternal grandparents, Albert and Edna Mae, nee Edwards, Diehl, and an uncle, Joseph Podhrasky.
Surviving are his father, John Diehl, of Millstadt, Illinois, a sister, Natalie (Adam) Diehl-Swearingen, of Libertyville, Illinois.; a brother, Nicholas Diehl, of Atlanta, Georgia.; maternal grandparents, Frank and Anita, nee Perry, Podhrasky, of Millstadt, Illinois; aunts and uncles, Albert (Mary) Diehl, Clark Diehl, Cindy (Tom) Frierdich, all of Columbia, Illinois Dennis (Jeanne) Diehl, of St. Petersburg, Florida. Fran (Allen) Wittenborn, of Ellis Grove, Illinois Rose Nelson, of Millstadt, Illinois, and Edward (Melissa) Podhrasky, of Belleville, Illinois; a niece Mattie Swearingen and a nephew Parker Swearingen, both of Libertyville, Illinois, cousins, and many friends.
Memorials may be made to St. James Church and will be received at the funeral home.
Visitation: Friends may call from 3:00 to 8:00 p.m. Thursday, January 2, 2014, at the Creason Funeral Home.
Funeral: Funeral Services will be held at 8:00 p.m. Thursday, January 2, 2014 at the funeral home with Monsignor Marvin Volk officiating.
