Michael J Nier

Michael J. Nier, 51, of Waterloo, IL, passed away at his home on Friday May 5, 2023.  Michael was born on August 5, 1971 to James and Sharon Nier, nee Liley and his father precedes him in death.

Michael grew up in Swansea, IL and graduated from Belleville West High School.  In his spare time, he enjoyed game nights with his family and friends.  Michael was a loving father, son, brother and dear friend of many.  He will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.

Left to cherish his memory is his mother Sharon Nier, his daughter Stephanie Nier, his son Christopher (Allison) Nier, and his brother Robert (Renee) Nier in addition to many friends.

A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
