Mark J. Marshall

Mark J. Marshall, 48 of Smithton, Illinois passed away peacefully at his home, surrounded by his loving family on Wednesday June 24, 2020. Born on October 14, 1971 in Belleville, Illinois, he was the son of Janet Mascee and she preceded him in death.

Mark was also preceded in death by his grandparents, Joseph and Opal Marshall, nee McMillen, his sister, Cheryl Hancock, his nephew Lew Muyleart, niece Louellen Muyleart and an uncle, Gary Marshall in infancy.

Mark is survived by his daughter, Hunter Marshall of Okawville, Illinois, his brothers, Donald (Jean) Marshall of Freeburg, Illinois and Patrick (Charlene) Marshall of New Athens, Illinois his sister, Joan Bussen of Smithton, Illinois in addition to many nieces, nephews and beloved friends.

Mark worked as a professional painter. In his spare time, he enjoyed the great outdoors very much, especially hunting and fishing. Mark especially loved the Marshall family.
