Marian Williams of St. Louis passed away on Sunday, January 4, 2009 at St. Louis University Hospital having attained the age of 77 years, 3 months and 4 days.

Born on September 30, 1921 in Murphysboro, Illinois, she was the daughter of the late Edgar and Ella (McDaniel) Griffin.

Mrs. Williams was a real estate manager at Maryville Gardens for 18 years.

Preceding her in death besides her parents were her husband, Harry Williams and a daughter, Judith OBrien.

Survivors include her son, Stacy Williams of Freeburg, Illinois; one brother, Willard McDaniel; five grandchildren, nieces, nephews and many friends.

Friends may call at the Southern Funeral Home on Friday, January 9, 2009 from 11:00 A.M. to 1:00 P.M. Memorials may be made to the donors choice and will be received at the funeral home.

Funeral services will be held on Friday, January 9, 2009 at 1:30 P.M. at St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church. Interment will be private.
