Lotina June Karcher
Lotina June Karcher, nee Vannoy, of Millstadt, Illinois, was born on August 5, 1975, in Marietta, Ohio, and departed this life at the age of 37 years, 10 months, and 21 days on June 26, 2013, at the DePaul Medical Center, Bridgeton, Missouri.
Lotina was a member of St. James Catholic Church, the Millstadt Civic Club, and was employed as a receptionist for the Salvation Army.
Lotina is the daughter of Donald and Linda, nee Foster, Vannoy Jr., of Belleville, Illinois. She married Ronald Karcher Jr. On October 11, 1997, at St. James Catholic Church in Millstadt, Illinois.
She was preceded in death by her grandfathers, Donald Vannoy Sr. and Oliver Foster.
Surviving besides her parents and husband, is her brother, Donald Vannoy III of Belleville, Illinois, and a sister, Lro Vannoy of Shiloh, Illinois; her grandmothers, Charlotte Vannoy, of Mariettra, Ohio, and Lois Foster, of Reno, Ohio; Niecwes, Mela Karcher of San Diego, California, Maya Karcher, of San Diego, California, and Ellen Martin, of Shiloh, Illinois; a nephew, Alexander Martin, of Granite City, Illinois, and many friends.
Memorials may be made to the Shriners Hospital and to the Salvation Army and will be received at the funeral home.
Visitation: Friends may call from 4-8 P.M. Sunday, June 30, 2013, and from 9-10:15 A.M. on Monday, July 1, 2013, at the Creason Funeral Home, Millstadt, Illinois.
Funeral: A Mass ofChristian Burial will be held on Monday, July 1, 2013, at 10:30 A.M. at St. James Catholic Church in Millstadt, Illinois, with Monsignor Marvin Volk officiating. Interment will follow in Mt Evergreen Cemetery, in Millstadt, Illinois.
