John N. Werkmann

John N. Werkmann, 78, of Red Bud, IL, passed away peacefully at his home on Sunday November 16, 2025. John was born on May 2, 1947 in St. Louis, MO to John and Dorothy (nee, Stone) Werkmann and his parents precede him in death. He was also preceded in death by his beloved wife, Patricia Werkmann and his brother, Terry Werkmann.

John grew up in Waterloo, IL. He enjoyed fishing in his spare time. Throughout his life, he enjoyed his many pets and especially his dog, Bella. John will be missed by all who knew and loved him.

He is survived by his sister, Linda Case, his sister-in-law, Connie Werkmann and many nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.

Cremation has taken place and no services are planned at this time.

Memorial contributions in memory of John N. Werkmann may be directed to the animal shelter of the donor's choice.
