James Douglas Cox

James Douglas Cox of East Carondelet, Illinois passed away on Thursday, December 17, 2009 at his home having attained the age of 56 years, 9 months and 23 days.

Born in St. Louis, Missouri on February 24, 2953, he was the son of David and Ruby (Laird) Cox.
Mr. Cox was a factory worker for Hussman Manufacturing.

He was preceded in death by his father, David Cox.

Surviving are his mother and step-father, Ruby and Arthur Hawkins; his children, Melissa (Wayne) Sides of DeSoto, Missouri and David Cox of Barnhart, Missouri; his sisters and brothers, Jane (Robert) LaMear of East Carondelet, Illinos, David (Gail) Cox of Hillsboro, Missouri, Sue (Ricky) Terry of Hillsboro, Missouri, Tim (Marilyn) Cox of Hillsboro, Missouri, Jeff Cox of Barnhart, Missouri and Danny Cox of Barnhart, Missouri; his granddaughter, Rose Elizabeth, nieces, nephews and cousins.

All services will be private. Creason Funeral Home, Millstadt, Illinois is in charge of arrangements.
