Icey Marie Copple

Icey Marie Copple, 86, of Sparta, formerly of Lawton, Oklahoma, went home to be with the Lord on Tuesday, April 21, 2026, at the Randolph County Care Center.

Marie was born July 5, 1939, in Lawton, Oklahoma, to Edgar and Bertie (McBride) Snodgrass. She married James Copple of Evansville, Illinois, in June 1957. She was a dedicated employee in the bindery at Spartan Printing for over 25 years.

She is survived by two daughters, Becky (Jim) Dunnivan of Sparta, Illinois and Paula (John) Bickley of Lawton, Oklahoma.

Grandchildren include Michael (Terrence) Copple of Florissant, Missouri; Jason (Sylvia) Boston of Sparta, Illinois; Brittany (Dan) DeMond of Sparta, Illinois; Ambrea (Piotr) Kikolski of Chicago, Illinois; Jennifer (Brian) Wilson of Old Appleton, Missouri; Travis Dunnivan of Sparta, Illinois; and Carrick Donohue of Lawton, Oklahoma.

Great-grandchildren include Jacelyn, Jazzlyn, and Jayden Boston; Finley and Turner DeMond; Beckham Kikolski; and Brooke (Klay) Smith.

Survivors also include step-grandchild Olivia Bickley of Lawton, Oklahoma; and step-great-grandchildren, Stephen and Taylor Wilson of Bowling Green, Kentucky, and Braylee and McKinze Bickley of Lawton, Oklahoma.

Marie was preceded in death by her parents; her daughter, Kathy Boston; her brothers, Jimmy Reeves, Billy, Ed, and Jerry Snodgrass; her sisters, Margaret Westberg, Mable Hearrell, and Sue Blackford; and her step-grandchild, Alex Bickley.

Marie’s wish was to be buried near her mother, so a burial service will be held in Apache, Oklahoma at a later date.
