Helen Marie Albrecht

Helen Marie Albrecht, nee Fehr, 63, of Collinsville, IL, passed away on October 1, 2023, in St. Louis, MO. Helen was born on March 21, 1960, in Roswell, New Mexico to Carl and Billie Fehr, nee Aldridge, and they precede her in death.

The first thing that loved ones would say about Helen is that she loved music, there was rarely a time she could be found without her AirPods. She is described as a loving, caring person, who adored her sons and her ten grandchildren. Helen worked for many years as a restaurant cook, but that did not stop her from whipping up more delicious food at home; she was a wonderful cook. She also enjoyed tending to her garden and indoor plants and spending time with her friends and family.

Left to cherish Helen’s memory are her sons, Danny Fehr, Jeremy Fehr, and Dennis (Amanda) Albrecht; her siblings, Carla (Dale) Krausz, Donna Garcia, Cathy Fehr, Karl (Rose) Fehr, and Raymond Fehr; as well as her ten grandchildren; her special friend, Tim Williamson, in addition to many dear extended family members and friends.

At the family’s request, Helen will be cremated and a private memorial gathering will be held at a later date.
