Heavenly Reed

Heavenly Reed, nee Reyes, 50, of Belleville, IL, passed away peacefully, surrounded by the love of her family on Saturday May 9, 2026. She was born on December 31, 1975, in Granite City, IL to Jack and Mary (Sealey) Reyes. Heavenly was preceded in death by her mother, Mary Sealey and her mother-in-law, Irene Reed.

Heavenly grew up in Granite City, IL and graduated from Granite City High School. She worked as a general manager for Taco Bell and later as a dietary cook at Rosewood Care Center. In her younger years, she and her husband, Francis enjoyed travelling across the country. Heavenly was hard working and a devoted full-time mom.

In her spare time, Heavenly enjoyed making bracelets, watching horror movies and wrestling and taking trips to the St. Louis Zoo, Union Station and Six Flags. She loved playing Mario with her family and going shopping and looking around at various stores. She also enjoyed caring for her dogs; she always loved animals. Her family always came first, and she loved spending time with her loved ones most of all. She was the best mother anyone could ask for. She will be remembered as a truly pure, loving and caring wife, mother, grandmother and the best friend anyone could have.

Left to cherish her memory is her husband, Francis Reed, Sr.; her sons: Francis Reed, Jr. and Gabriel Reed; her grandson, Ashton Reed; her siblings: Johnathan Overturf, Leeanne Green and Candy Green; her very special dog, Diesel (DeDe) and her close relatives: Dawn Reed, Emily Dancy and Bree Reed in addition to her extended family and many people she loved as much as family.
