Heatherly Lynn Haas

Heatherly Lynn Haas, 54, of Staunton, IL passed away at home on September 14, 2026, surrounded by her loving family after a courageous battle with cancer.

Born on December 24, 1971, in Fontana, CA, Heatherly was a lifelong native of Southern California. She attended Ramona High School and later took great pride in her career with U-Haul, where she worked as a partner in ownership. In 2019, Heatherly and her family relocated to Staunton, IL to be closer to relatives and fully embrace the Midwest lifestyle. She quickly grew to love the region’s beautiful, distinct seasons and way of life.

She was preceded in death by her mother, Kay-Rene (Lusk) Haas (2007); her father, Wayne Charles Haas (2020); and her brother, Marc Daniel Haas (2025).

Heatherly’s legacy lives on through her devoted life partner of 25 years, Kristine Sue Daniels, and their beloved son, Zachary Charles Haas. She is also survived by her siblings: Shelley Rene (Haas) Shae, Wayne Charles Haas, Jr., Leslie Mae (Haas) Medlin, Jodie Marie Reid, Clinton Andrew Haas and Elizabeth Anne Haas, as well as an extensive, loving network of nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins and close friends.

A memorial service to honor and celebrate Heatherly’s life will be held on September 19, 2026, at 1:00pm at the UCC Church in Staunton, IL. A potluck and time of fellowship will immediately follow the services at the church.
