Gerry Kernzer

Gerry Kernzer, of Waterloo, Illinois, died on Saturday, October 17, 2015, at St. Elizabeth Hospital, after a short but heroic battle with cancer. Gerry obtained the age of 51 years and 8 days.
Gerry was born on October 9, 1964, in Bangor, Maine, the son of William and Gertrude, nee Slaughterbach, Kernzer. They preceded him in death.

He was a factory worker in the food industry.

Gerry is survived by a sister, Heidi (Glen) Bevelot, of Waterloo, Illinois; a brother, Jerry Kernzer, of Waterloo, Illinois; 3 nephews, Mike (Devlyn) Seymour, of Waterloo, Illinois, Patrick (Heather) Seymour, of Waterloo, Illinois, and Shawn (Rachel) Seymour, of Ames, Illinois; four grand nieces and grand nephews, and many friends.

At the familys request all services will be private.
