Eric Robert Reineke

Eric Robert Reineke, 44, of Dupo, IL, passed away at his home on Thursday August 7, 2024. He was born in St. Louis, MO on August 23, 1980, to Robert and Deborah (Schearrer) Reineke and his parents survive.

Eric grew up in St. Louis, MO and was baptized in the Lutheran faith at a young age. In his spare time, he loved to play video games and was an avid sports fan. He loved the St. Louis Cardinals and following the NFL throughout the season. Most important to Eric was his family and the time he spent with them, especially time spent with his niece and nephew. Eric will be remembered as a loving son, brother, uncle and dear friend of many.

In addition to his parents, those left to cherish his memory are his sister, Kimberly (Salem Bonn) Reineke, his nephew, Zane Bonn, his niece, Kaya Bonn, his beloved cat, Edgar, several aunts, uncles, cousins, extended family and many friends.

Eric will be laid to rest, at a later date, in a private ceremony.
