Emily Elizabeth Polette


Emily Elizabeth Polette, nee Schneidermeyer, in her 91st year, passed away on April 18, 2008 at her home in St. Louis, Missouri.

Born August 5, 1917 in St. Louis, she married L. J. Polette on August 24, 1955 and he survives her passing. She was a former employee of Lammert Furniture and Famous Barr and a member of Immaculate Heart of Mary Womens Sodality.

Other survivors include her children, Denise Polette, Karen (Mark) Loeffler, Lindsay (Cindy) Polette, Lance (Luann) Polette and Hugh William (Dorothy) Polette all of St. Louis, seven grandsons and two granddaughters.

Preceding her in death was a brother, William Schneidermeyer.
Friends may call at the Southern Funeral Home, 6322 South Grand Boulevard on Monday, April 22, 2008 from 3:00 to 8:00 P.M. and on Tuesday, April 23, 2008 from 9:00 to 9:30 A.M.

A funeral mass will be held on Tuesday, April 23, 2008 at 10:00 A.M. at Immaculate Heart of Mary Catholic Church. Interment will follow at Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery.
Memorials may be made to the church and will be received at the funeral home.
