Elmer C. Murphy

Elmer C. Murphy, 50, of Millstadt, IL, passed away unexpectedly on August 10, 2025 in St. Louis, MO. 

Elmer was born on August 3, 1975 in Belleville, IL. He graduated from Columbia High School in 1994 and began his career as an electrician. He was an avid softball player and had a lifelong love of sports.

Elmer is preceded in death by his parents, James and Rosetta Murphy and Russell Albert.

Left to cherish his memory is his mother, Lark Albert of Millstadt, IL; his daughter, Alexandria Roy of Columbia, IL and his brother, Ryan (Rachele) Albert of Columbia, IL. He was also a dear nephew, cousin and friend to many.

Cremation has taken place and a celebration of life will be held, based on the family's wishes, at a later date.
