Ellis Howard Berry, Sr. 74, of Waterloo, Illinois, died Tuesday, March 1, 2016, at St. Anthonys Hospital, St. Louis, Missouri.
Ellis, a U.S. Navy veteran worked as an over-the-road truck driver most of his life.
He was born the son of Emmett Howard and Velma Marie, nee Weekly, Berry.
He married Judith Langdon on May 19, 2007, in Hazelwood, Missouri.
In addition to his parents, Ellis was predeceased by a sister, Joann Dickerson.
Besides his wife, Ellis is survived by his children, Elizabeth Risley, Baldwin, Illinois, Elis Berry Jr., Louisville, Kentucky, Christina Berry, Belleville, Illinois, and Kevin Berry, St. Peter, Missouri; his brothers and sister, Herman (Patricia) Berry, Prairie Du Rocher, Illinois, Patricia Berry, Waterloo, Illinois, and Charles (Tanya) Berry, Pinckneyville, Illinois; grandchildren, Tabitha (Eric) Vise, Valmeyer, Illinois, James (Cassie) Lloyd III, of Baldwin, Illinois, Jessica (Casey) Stutzenberger, Louisville, Kentucky, Rebecca Berry, Louisville, Kentucky, Isabella Berry, Union, Missouri, and Dierdre Berry, Union, Missouri; many nieces, nephews, and friends.
A graveside Service with full military honors will be held at 1:00 P.M. on Tuesday, March 15, 2016, at Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery, St. Louis, Missouri.
