Edward Sutter



Edward Sutter of Fayetteville, formerly of Millstadt, passed away on Saturday, February 28, 2009 at his home. He had attained the age of 59 years, 9 months and 13 days.
Born on March 15, 1949 in Belleville, he was the son of Edward and Elvira 'Vera' (Schulte) Sutter. Mr. Sutter was a professor at Joliet Junior College for more than 20 years. He was a member of St. Pancratius Catholic Church in Fayetteville.

Left to mourn his passing are his companion, Gloria Monroe of Fayetteville; his children, Jennifer Sutter of Ottawa, Amanda Sutter of Edwardsville, Emily Sutter of New York, New York and Edward 'Andy' Sutter of Bunker Hill; his step-daughter, Amy Smith of St. Louis; one brother, Richard (Judy) Sutter of Millstadt; one sister, Rochelle (Ron) Cosby of Cottage Hills; his parents, nieces, nephews, cousins and many friends.

Friends may call on Wednesday, March 4, 2009 from 4:00 P.M. to 9:00 P.M. at the Creason Funeral Home in Millstadt. Memorials may be made to Siteman Cancer Center.

Funeral services will be held on Thursday, March 5, 2009 at 10:00 A.M. at St. Pancratius Catholic Church in Fayetteville with Father Ed Hauf OMI officiating. Interment will follow in the church cemetery.
