Dennis Keith Tate

Dennis Keith Tate of Columbia, Illinois, fortified by the sacraments entered into eternal rest on Sunday, March 12, 2017, at his home. Dennis attained the age of 62 years 2 months 15 days.
He was born in St. Louis, Missouri, on December 27, 1954, the son of William and Teresa, nee Gorman, Tate.
A registered Nurse, Dennis was greatly respected by his employers and patients.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Dennis is survived by his partner, Edward B. Henkey, his three sisters, Mary (Omar) Ruiz, Arnold, Missouri, Diana (Joe) Rowane, Granite City, Illinois, and Margaret Catanzaro, Granite City, Illinois; two brothers, Brian Tate, St. Charles, Missouri, John (Nancy) Tate, /St. Charles, Missouri; many nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews. He is also survived many special friends to whom they have given so much of their love and time and care to help care for him while in hospice.
A celebration of his life will be held at a later date.
