Cora Lee Weber

Cora Lee Weber, nee Holle, 82 of Belleville, IL passed away peacefully at Memorial Hospital in Belleville on Thursday September 23, 2021. Cora was born on April 17, 1939 to George Henry and Virginia Lydia Holle, Sr., nee Green and they precede her in death. She was also preceded in death by her dear husband of 33 years, Fred John Weber.

Cora worked as a teacher’s aide at Jefferson School and was dearly loved by all of her students. She was also a devoted homemaker. In her spare time, Cora loved to crochet and was a very good cook; she was also a member and secretary of the Hudson Club as well as a member of the United Church of Christ of Belleville. Cora was a devoted wife, mother grandmother and great-grandmother. She will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.

Left to cherish her memory are her sons; Charles Weber of Belleville, IL and Edward (Doreen) Weber of St. Peters, MO; her siblings: George (the late Sherry) Holle of Belleville, IL, Mary (David Keith) Steele of Millstadt, IL, Charles (Sharon) Holle of Freeburg, IL, Karen (Doug) Thomas of Bonnie, IL, LouAnn (Charles) Morris of Chester, IL, Linda Holle and Margie Holle, both of Belleville, IL; her granddaughter, Casey (Todd) Voegtle of Belleville, IL and her great-grandchildren: Cole and Cody Voegtle of Belleville, IL and Lisa Taylor of Arnold, MO in addition to many nieces, nephews, extended family and beloved friends.

Memorial contributions in memory of Cora may be made to the Belleville Area Humane Society.

Private services will be held.
