Cathy Heil of Cahokia, Illinois, formerly of Millstadt, Illinois, passed away on Monday, July 18, 2016 at Bria of Cahokia in Cahokia, Illinois, having attained the age of 65 years, 11 months and 29 days.

Born on July 19, 1950 in St. Louis, Missouri, she was the daughter of James Edward and Helen Marie Phillips, nee Yoder.

She was a waitress and of the Presbyterian faith.

Preceding her in death were her parents; her brother, James Edward Phillips II and her sister, Carol Gay Phillips.

Surviving are her son, William (Tory) Phillips of Oshkosh, Wisconsin; her brothers, Clint (Diana) Phillips of Millstadt, Illinois and Richard "Dennis" (Vickie) Phillips of Kokomo, Indiana; her sister, Helen Louise (Mike) Foster of St. Louis, Missouri; her grandchildren, Tyler Kontos, Hunter Phillips and Evan Phillips; her significant other, Jeffrey A. Brenning of Cahokia; nieces, nephews and many friends.

All services will be private.
