Born on July 3, 1953 in Chicago, Illinois, he was the son of John Thomas and Elizabeth McCurrie, Nee Scalletta.

Mr. McCurrie was a factory worker.

Preceding him in death were his parents and his sister, Elizabeth Haley.

Surviving are his sisters and brothers, Joann (James) Page of Bonnie, Illinois, Mary Smallwood of Powell, Tennessee, Jesse (Yvonne) McCurrie of Frankfort, Illinois, Johnny (Linda) McCurrie of Syracuse, Michigan, Jimmy (Diane) McCurrie of Romeoville, Illinois and Linda Ford of Houston, Texas, nieces, nephews, cousins and many friends.

All services will be private.
