Allen Leroy Ferguson

Allen Leroy Ferguson, Sr. of Belleville, Illinois passed away on Saturday, May 5, 2018 at his home, having attained the age of 64 years, 11 months and 7 days.

Born in East St. Louis, Illinois on May 28, 1953, he was the son of Johnnie and Alice Ferguson, nee Moll. He was united in marriage to Karen Dotson on February 14, 2006 in St. Clair County, Illinois and she survives his passing.

Allen was a veteran of the United States Army serving in Vietnam, was a truck driver with Truck Drivers Local 50 and a member of the Southern Baptist faith.

Preceding him in death were his parents.

Surviving are his wife, Karen Ferguson of Belleville, Illinois; his children, Tamara Seymore of Belleville, Illinois and Allen Ferguson, Jr. of Jonesboro, Arkansas; his stepson, Brian (Catherine) Dotson of Belleville, Illinois; his sister, Renee (Scott) Asselmeier of Waterloo, Illinois; his grandchildren, Bailey Lashay Seymore of Belleville, Illinois, Jacob Ferguson, Jody Ferguson, Alexis Ferguson, all of Jonesboro, Arkansas and Kylie Rose Dotson of Belleville, Illinois, nieces, nephews and many friends.

Friends may call on Tuesday, May 8, 2018 from 3:00 P.M. to 7:00 P.M. at the Creason Funeral Home in Millstadt, Illinois.

Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, May 8, 2018 at 7:00 P.M. at the funeral home with Rev. Terry Delaney officiating. Interment will be at a later date in Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery in St. Louis, Missouri.
