Abbie Madelyn Haudrich

Haudrich, Abbie Madelyn, 24, of Millstadt, Illinois, died on Sunday, March 5, 2017. Abbie was born in Belleville, on September 11, 1992, the daughter of Larry and Adriene "Dino", nee Ponder, Haudrich.
Abbie graduated from Gibault Catholic High School in 2011 and attended Southwestern Illinois College.
She worked at Quantum Vision Center and enjoyed her many co-workers.
Abbie was a person with a big heart, a great smile, and a welcoming personality. She brought happiness to everyone she was around. Abbie was known for her big hugs and was always willing to lend an ear to anyone who needed someone. Her generosity of spirit continued even in death by gifting her organs to help others. Abbies kindness and love will never be forgotten. Her death has been a heartbreaking loss for her family and friends.
The family would like to give special thanks to the doctors, nurses, and staff of Memorial Hospital for their heartfelt care and valiant efforts to save Abbie. Also, a special thanks to Eyecare Partners.
She has now joined in heaven, her grandma, Ella May, whom she dearly loved.
In addition to grandma Abbie was preceded in death by her grandfather Bob Johnson, her uncle, Zeb Ponder, and her special cousin, Virginia Hankammer.
Abbie is survived by her parents, her grandparents, Orville and Marilyn Haudrich, of Millstadt, Ill, her brother, Samuel Haudrich, of Millstadt, Ill; her aunts and uncles, Betty and Louie Welch, Fort Worth, Tx, Pam and Mike Neary, Shiloh, Ill, Madeline Ponder and special friend, Henry Liefer, Belleville, Ill, Linda and Mike Tucker, High Ridge, Mo. JoAnn and Willie Holdener, Millstadt, Ill., Dennis and Michelle Haudrich, Columbia, Ill. Diane and John Sweeney, Millstadt, Ill; many cousins and friends.
The family requests that memorials in Abbies memory be made to St. James Church and will be received by the funeral home.

Stephen Freund Parish Center, Millstadt, Ill. and on Friday, March 10, 2017, from 9:30 to 10:30 A.M. at St. James Church, Millstadt, Ill.
