Sandra S. Bailey

Sandra S. Bailey, nee Milan, 81 of Millstadt, Illinois passed away at her home on Saturday January 18, 2020. Born on July 2, 1938 in White Ash, Illinois, she was the daughter of Corrine Farmer and she survives. She was preceded in death by her father, Herb Slayden, her stepfather Oscar Joffray and her grandson, Aaron Michael Bailey.

Left to cherish her memory is her husband of 65 years, Terry Bailey, her daughter, Terri Ann (Steven) Keim, her sons; Kenneth (Betty) Bailey and James W. (Patricia) Bailey, her sister Janice (Jerry) Cox, her brothers; Richard (Nita) Slayden and David Slayden. Sandra also leaves behind many grandchildren and great-grandchildren in addition to many beloved friends.

Sandra was a beautician for 35 years sharing her creative talents with others. She was also an active member of Concordia Church in Millstadt. In her spare time, she loved cooking and spending time with her dear cat, Kelly aka Precious. Sandra leaves behind a legacy of love and devotion to her family and friends and will be deeply missed by all who knew her.

There will be a memorial service at 3pm on Monday January 27, 2020 at Concordia United Church of Christ in Millstadt, Illinois. Graveside services will follow at Concordia Cemetery.
