Ruth Edna Plopper of St. Louis passed away on Saturday, January 9, 2010 at the home of her daughter, having reached the age of 83 years, 4 months and 4 days.

Born on September 5, 1926 in St. Louis, Missouri, she was the daughter of John and Hazel (Showalter) Ramsey. She married Otto Plopper and he preceded her in death.

Mrs. Plopper was a member of St. John the Baptist Catholic Church in St. Louis.
Preceding her in death besides her husband, Otto, were her parents, her brothers and sisters, Dorothy Nicols, Roberta Maniscalco, Edward Ramsey and Alvin Ramsey and her grandsons, Rodney Plopper, Larry Plopper, Jr. and Mark Cobb.
Surviving are her children, Larry Francis (Carol Hercules) Plopper of Goose Creek, Missouri, Linda Jiminiz of St. Louis, Michael (Connie Link) Plopper of St. Louis and Laura (Joseph) Sabella of Arnold, Missouri; her grandchildren, Timothy Plopper, Otto Plopper, Todd Plopper, Debbie Cobb, Gina Cobb, Jennifer Cobb, James Cobb, San Juan Jimniez, Jessie Tarah, Nickalaus Jiminez, Michael Plopper, Shane Plopper, Nicole Plopper, Crystal Link, Michelle Link, Joseph Sabella, Jr., Michael Sabella and Hollie Sabella and twenty-four great-grandchildren.

Friends may call on Wednesday, January 13, 2010 from 10:00 A.M. to 1:30 P.M. at Southern Funeral Home. Memorials may be made to the donors choice and will be received at the funeral home.
Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, January 13, 2010 at 1:30 P.M. at the funeral home. Interment will follow in St. Trinity Cemetery in St. Louis.
