Robert Preston Blount of St. Louis, Missouri passed away on Friday, April 8, 2011 in St. Louis, having attained the age of 36 years, 7 months and 20 days.

Born in St. Louis, Missouri on August 18, 1974, he was the son of Paul Preston and Shirley, nee Brown, Blount, Jr. He was united in marriage to Dianna Hawkins on January 18, 2000 in Hillsboro, Missouri and she survives his passing.

Mr. Blount was a roofing construction worker with Bozikias Home Repair.

Preceding him in death were his parents and his sister, Paula Blount.

Left to mourn his passing are his wife, Dianna Blount of St. Louis, Missouri; his children, Robert Hawkins, Kayla Hawkins and Joseph Blount, all of St. Louis; his brothers and sisters, Paul Blount III, Connie Ferguson, Janet Blount, Daniel Blount, Victoria Blount and Anna (John) Grounds, all of St. Louis; his special nieces and nephews, Timothy Blount, Paul Blount, Jennifer Blount, Katie Sayre, John Grounds, Jacob Grounds and Jeremy Grounds and many friends.
Friends may call on Wednesday, April 13, 2011 from 3:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M. at the Fey Funeral Home, 4100 Lemay Ferry Road, St. Louis, Missouri. Memorials may be made to the family and will be accepted at the funeral home.

Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, April 13, 2011 at 7:00 P.M. at the funeral home with Rev. Terry Delaney officiating. All other services will be private.
