Ricky Edward Kane Sr. departed this life on Sunday, April 19, 2015, at his home surrounded by his family. Ricky had obtained the age of 62 years, 11months, and 10 days.

Ricky was born on May 9, 1952, in St. Louis, Missouri, the son of LeRoy and Mary Kane, nee Passaniti.Ricky worked as a laborer in the construction inductry.

He was preceded in death by his parents. Left to mourn his passing are his long time girlfriend and companion, Linda Lopez; his children, Michael Kane of Mississippi, Patrick Kane of South Carolina, Ricky Kane Jr., Sara Lopez, and Linda Lopez all of Belleville, Illinois, and Clarence Smith Jr. Of Marissa, Illinois; brothers, Albert Kane of Saint Louis, Missouri, Larry (Faith) Kane of Troy, Missouri; a sister, Denise (John) Evans, of Saint Louis, Missouri; grandchildren, Fay Kane of Nashville, Illinois, and Braden Smith of Marissa, Illinois, many nieces, nephews and friends.
Memorials are suggested to be given to the family and will be received by the funeral home.

A Memorial Service will be held at a later date.
