Richard Hollis Denning

Richard Hollis Denning of Millstadt, Illinois entered eternal rest on Thursday, June 15, 2017 as a result of injuries sustained in an automobile accident in Sauget, Illinois, attaining the age of 48 years, 3 months and 28 days.
Born in Belleville, Illinois on February 17, 1969, he was the son of Hollis and Margaret "Peg" Denning, nee Schmitt.
Richard was a loving son and brother and compassionate father. He was a self-employed glass glazer and a member of St. James Catholic Church in Millstadt.
Left to mourn his passing are his parents; his children, Dirk Denning of St. Louis, Missouri; Amy Denning and Cory Denning, both of Millstadt, Illinois; his sisters, Laura (Terry) DeMond of Smithton, Illinois and Lana (Kent) Fiedler of Millstadt, Illinois and his nephew, Brendan DeMond of Smithton, Illinois.
Also mourning his passing are his Creason family, "Aunt" Ann Creason of Millstadt, Illinois and the late "Uncle" Jim Creason, Jim and Karen Creason of Millstadt, Illinois, Vicki Creason of Chicago, Illinois, Debi and Kevin Edwards of Waterloo, Illinois, Tammy and Chris Turk of Peachtree City, Georgia and Steve Creason of Millstadt, Illinois and their children and families.
Memorials may be made to St. James Catholic Church and the Millstadt Senior Center and will be received at the funeral home.
Friends may call from 3:00 P.M. to 7:00 P.M. on Sunday, June 18, 2017 at the Creason Funeral Home in Millstadt, Illinois and from 9:00 A.M. to 10:00 A.M. on Monday, June 19, 2017 at St. James Catholic Church in Millstadt, Illinois.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:00 A.M. on Monday, June 19, 2017 at St. James Catholic Church with Monsignor Marvin Volk officiating. Interment will follow in Green Mount Catholic Cemetery in Belleville, Illinois.
