Patricia A. Wilson

Patricia Annie Wilson, 75, of Dupo, IL, passed away Friday, September 9, 2022 at Mercy Hospital South in St. Louis, MO. Patricia was born on January 19, 1947 in East St. Louis, IL to Raymond Willette and Annie Murphy-Kelso, and they precede her in death.

Patricia married her late husband, Robert Wilson, on September 13, 1966 in East St. Louis, IL and they shared almost 40 years of wedded bliss before Robert’s passing on November 22, 2005. Patricia was a member of First Baptist Church in Dupo, IL and spent her free time perusing the aisles of her local Wal-Mart, enjoying meals at McDonald’s, and feeding the birds that gathered in her yard.

In addition to her parents, Raymond Willett and Annie Murphy-Kelso, and her late husband, Robert Wilson, Patricia is preceded in death by her brother, Herbert Willette.

Left to cherish her memory are her siblings, Connie (Richard) Maker, Priscilla (Jimmy) Tucker, Kay (Larry) Nichols, and Frank Willette, her dear friend, Kevin Lybarger, her many nieces, nephews, extended relatives, and friends.

Per her wishes, Patricia will be cremated, memorial visitation will be held on Wednesday September 28, 2022 from 1:30pm-2:30pm at First Baptist Church of Dupo, 620 Godin Ave., Dupo, IL 62239; the funeral service will follow at 2:30pm and refreshments will be served afterward. Interment at Miles Cemetery in St. James, MO will follow at a later date. 

Memorial donations in honor of Patricia may be made to the First Baptist Church Building Fund, 620 Godin Avenue, Dupo, IL 62239.
