Mary Ann Hagler

Mary Ann Hagler, 82, of Millstadt, Ill., born July 10, 1935, in East St. Louis, Ill., the daughter of Chalmer and Gertrude, nee Titter, Castiller. She passed away September 19, 2017, at her home in Millstadt.
Mary Ann had obtained her BSN in nursing at the Missouri Baptist School of Nursing and worked as a nurse for many years at Memorial Convalescent Center, Belleville, Ill. In her free time she loved to tend her flower and vegetable garden as well as getting lost in a good mystery novel.
In addition to her parents Mary Ann was preceded in death by a brother, John "Terry" Castiller.
She is survived by her long time friend, Jo Ann Miller, of Millstadt; her daughter Ann (John) Wilson, of Vienna Va.; her grandchildren Nicole Benuzzi, Port Charlotte, Fa, John Wilson and Robert Wilson, both of Vienna, Va.,dear friends, Julia Fry of Fayetteville, Ill. and Dolores Miller, of Millstadt; "Special Friends" Quincie and Sammie; nieces, nephews, and many other friends.
Memorials are suggested to the St. Clair County Humane Society.
