Marvin H. Eschmann

Marvin H. Eschmann, 79 of East Carondelet, Illinois passed away peacefully at Columbia Health Care Center in Columbia, Illinois on July 31, 2019. Born on February 11, 1940, he was the son of Edward and Edna Eschmann, nee Brandt and they precede him in death. In addition to his parents, Marvin is preceded in death by a brother, Neil Eschmann.



Surviving are his wife, Martha Eschmann, nee Linder whom he married in Columbia, South Carolina on March 30, 1978. A brother, Terry (Dana) Eschmann, a sister Lois (Roger) Taylor, his daughter, Erica Turner, special son-in-law Michael Hunter and his grandchildren, Katelyn and Edward Hunter.



Marvin was a member of the United Church of Christ in Dupo, Illinois. He worked for many years as a mechanic in the manufacturing industry and was a member of the Steel Workers Union.



Friends may call on Monday August 5, 2019 from 4:00pm until 6:00 pm at Creason Funeral Home, 220 W. Washington St., Millstadt, Illinois. A memorial service will be held at the funeral home at 6:00pm with Pastor Tony Ye officiating. Memorial contributions may be made to Gateway Baptist Church in Belleville, Illinois.
