Martha Allene Spurgeon

Martha Allene Spurgeon of St. Louis, Missouri passed away on Tuesday, October 31, 2017 at St. Louis University Hospital in St. Louis, Missouri, having attained the age of 100 years and 13 days.
Born in Farmington, Missouri on October 18, 1917, she was the daughter of John Thomas and Lela Frances Spurgeon, nee McClintock.
Martha was a member of Webster Groves Church of the Nazarene.
Preceding her in death were her parents.
Surviving are her daughter, Kerry (Bill) Ridings of Maplewood, Missouri; her grandchildren, Audrey (Larry) Hamilton, Elizabeth Ridings, both of St. Louis, Missouri and Katherine (Ben) Norton of Maplewood, Missouri; her great-grandchildren, Logan Hamilton, Mason Hamilton, Nayhlee Norton and Isimina Norton; her great-great granddaughter, Jo Ann Gallagher of Tucson, Arizona, cousins and many friends.
Friends may call on Saturday, November 4, 2017 from 10:00 A.M. to 11:00 A.M. at Webster Groves Church of the Nazarene in Webster Groves, Missouri.
Funeral services will be held on Saturday, November 4, 2017 at 11:00 A.M. at the church with Pastor Scott Dermer officiating. Interment will follow in the McClintock Cemetery in Farmington, Missouri.
The Creason Funeral Home in Millstadt, Illinois is in charge of arrangements.
