Kayla Nicole Palmer

Kayla Nicole Palmer, 36, of Hecker, IL, passed away at her home, surrounded by her loving family, on Friday December 22, 2023. Kayla was born on September 20, 1987, in Sparta, IL to David Clutter and Sonja Palmer and they survive. She was preceded in death by her maternal grandparents, William and Carol Palmer.

Kalya was employed as a childcare provider in Tennessee for several years, a career she loved. Most of all, Kayla enjoyed spending time with her family and friends and traveling.

Left to cherish her memory is her fiancé, Adam Burroughs of Hecker, IL; her bonus children: A.J. Amezquita, Gabby Amezquita and Nikki Amezquita; her siblings: Heather (Rick) Rodgers of Baldwin, IL, Loretta Ubal of Medina, TN, Jesse Asher of Sparta, IL, Kevin (Angel) Asher of Waterville, ME and Dylan Asher of Coulterville, IL in addition to many nieces, nephews, extended family and beloved friends.

Per Kayla’s wishes, her body was cremated. Celebration of life services will be held at a later date.
