Jonelle Rollins Holthouser

Jonelle Rollins Holtzhouser of Swansea, Illinois passed away at Mercy Care Center in Swansea, Illinois on March 8, 2018, having attained the age of 83 years, seven months and five days.

Born on August 16, 1934 in Kennett, Missouri, she was the daughter of Lester and Nell Rollins, nee Darden.

Jonelle was a primary education teacher.

She was preceded in death by her parents.

Surviving are her son, Jay (Alice) Rollins Holtzhouser of Millstadt, Illinois; her grandchildren, Jason Holtzhouser of Denver, Colorado and Emily Holtzhouser of Warsaw, Indiana; her lifetime companion, Marlene Simms; Dana (Vincent) Sims York, Zachary York, Sarah York, Staci York and other family and friends.

Memorials may be made to Hospice of Southern Illinois.

A gathering of friends will be held on Saturday, April 7, 2018 from 1:00 P.M. to 3:00 P.M. at the Creason Funeral Home in Millstadt, Illinois.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, April 7, 2018 at 3:00 P.M. with Father Kenneth York officiating.
