Hubert Lee Jones, Jr.

Hubert Lee Jones, Jr., 76 of Belleville, Illinois passed away peacefully at his home, surrounded by his loving family, on Sunday September 8, 2019. Born on July 4, 1943 in Gary, Indiana, he was the son of Hubert L. Jones, Sr. and Dorothy, nee Bucalo and they precede him in death. Hubert was also preceded in death by his brother, Jimmy Jones.

Left to cherish his memory are his two ex-wives, Christina Mills and Brenda Jones and his life partner of many years, Debbie Klein; his children: Tina (Ronald) Tucker of Taylor Mill, Kentucky, Tracy Renee Jones of Cincinnati, Ohio, Lynn Jones of Columbia, Illinois, Cindy (Brian) Chastain of Millstadt, Illinois, Angela (Trent) Dion of Melbourne, Florida. His siblings: Patricia Russett of Joliet, Illinois, Melvin (Linda) Jones of Troy, Illinois, Mary (Barto) Edwards of Collinsville, Illinois, Betty (Steve) Jarman of Worden, Illinois and Sharon (Danny) Edwards of Michie, Tennessee, Pat Bucalo of Joliet, Illinois, Joyce (Bob) Reynolds of Cincinnati, Ohio and Diane Bucalo Adams of Loveland, Ohio. Hubert is also survived by 13 grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren, many nieces, nephews and beloved friends.

Hubert worked as a painter for many years. During his free time, he loved spending time with his family and especially his grandchildren. He was a great father and mentor for his children and grandchildren and instilled in them many fond memories. Hubert loved riding motorcycles and playing the guitar. Music was one of his great loves of life. He will be deeply missed by all those who knew him.
