Henry Lee Hill, Sr.

Henry Lee Hill, Sr., 79 of Fairview Heights, Illinois passed away peacefully, surrounded by his loving family on Monday July 27, 2020. Born on June 5, 1941 in Benton, Illinois he was the son of Henry L. and Eileen Hill, nee Acker and they precede him in death. Henry was also preceded in death by his son, Kevin Hill.

Left to cherish his memory is his daughter, Amanda (Charlie) Rubbo of Fairview Heights, Illinois; his siblings: Donnie (the late Pam) Hill, Patsy (Ronnie) Roberts, Brenda (Joe) White, Rickey (Donna) Hill, David (Bernice) Hill and Phillip (Shawn) Hill. Henry is also survived by a granddaughter, Ashley (fiancé Cory Kemp) Navarro.

Henry was the consummate outdoorsman. He loved living on his lake in Potosi, Missouri and loved anything outdoors, especially the mountains. He was an animal lover and in his spare time, he enjoyed listening to all types of music, especially new age artists like Yanni. Henry was a very kind person and was always teaching somebody something. He was very fun loving and always had a joke to tell. Most of all, Henry enjoyed spending time with his friends and family. Henry will be deeply missed by all who knew him.

Henry will be laid to rest with honor at Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery at a later date.
