Gerald Milton Niederstadt of Waterloo, Illinois passed away on Monday, December 22, 2014 at his home having attained the age of 79 years, 4 months and 7 days.

Born in Murphyboro, Illinois on August 15, 1935, he was the son of Reinhold Albert and Irene Niederstadt, nee Ahner.

He was preceded in death by his parents and a son, Steven Niederstadt.

Surviving are his daughter, Gina Lee of Virginia Beach, Virginia; his brothers and sisters, Carol Ann (Ron) Reule of Portland, Oregon, Curtis C. (Judith) Niederstadt of Friedheim, Missouri, Suzanne (David) Zimmermann of Waterloo, Illinois and Kenneth (Karen) Niederstadt of St. Louis, Missouri; three grandchildren, John Lee, JJ Lee and Gerald Lee, nieces, nephews, cousins and many friends.
All services will be private.
