Georgia M. Bennett

Georgia, M. Bennett, nee Putnum, 76 of Belleville, Illinois passed away peacefully on March 5, 2020 in Belleville, Illinois. Born on March 4, 1944 in Shreveport, Louisiana, she was the daughter of J.D. and Hazel Putnum, nee Franklin and they precede her in death.

Left to cherish her memory is her son Richard Tuley (Kristen Jacob) of Shertz, Texas and her brother, Thomas Franklin of Belleville and her special friends, James and Larry. She also leaves behind many beloved friends and extended family.

Georgia loved to shop, especially at flea markets. She was a talented jewelry maker and enjoyed collecting many treasures, especially Barbie dolls. Georgia was a kind, fun loving person who will be deeply missed by all who knew her. Georgia chose generosity to be her legacy and donated her body to St. Louis University School of Medicine.
