Georgia Anne Gigi Sauzek, 47, of Freeburg, Illinois, departed this life on February 29, 2016, as the result of a traffic accident.
Gigi was born on March 31, 1968, in Belleville, Illinois, the daughter of Gary and Maureen, nee Wall, Mueth. She married the love of her life, Bernard Sauzek at St. James Church, Millstadt, Illinois, on October 24, 1992. After receiving her bachelors degree Gigi spent her working career working in health care.
She was preceded in death by her paternal grandfather, Henry Mueth, her maternal grandparents, Harry and Nonnie Wall, and her mother and father-in-law Arthur and Mildred Sauzek.
In addition to her parents and husband Gigi is survived by her daughters Ashley and Emily Sauzek, Freeburg, Illinois, her paternal grandmother, Almira Mueth, Millstadt, Illinois, and numerous nieces, nephews, and many friends.
Memorials may be made in Gigis name to the Humane Society, or her childrens education fund and will be received at the funeral home.
Visitation will be on Thursday, March 3, 2016, from 4:00 to 8:00 P.M. at the Creason Funeral Home, Millstadt, Illinois, and on Friday, March 4, 2016 from 9:00 A.M. to 10:00 A.M. at St. James Catholic Church, Millstadt, Illinois.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Friday, March 4, 2016, at 10:00 A.M. at St. James Church, Father Mark Reysing and Father Marvin Volk officiating. Burial will follow at Mt Evergreen Cemetery, Millstadt, Illinois.
