Gene A. Nolte of East Carondelet, Illinois passed away on Sunday, February 26, 2017 at Memorial Hospital in Belleville, Illinois, having attained the age of 78 years, 1 month and 25 days.
Born on January 1, 1939 in East St. Louis, Illinois, he was the son of Robert Nolte. He was united in marriage to Pamela Warren on November 8, 2014 in East Carondelet, Illinois.
Gene was a veteran of the United States Army Reserve and a factory worker in metal manufacturing.
Preceding him in death were his parents and his son, Alan Nolte.
Surviving are his wife, Pamela Nolte of East Carondelet, Illinois; his son, Don (Tammy) Nolte of Dixon, Missouri; his step-children, Derek Gipson of St. Charles, Missouri and Brandi Barnett of Collinsville, Illinois; his daughter-in-law, Niki Nolte of Columbia, Illinois; his grandchildren, Robert Nolte of Columbia, Illinois and Savannah Barnett of Collinsville, Illinois and many friends.
All services will be private.
